He has worked at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India as Supervising Medical Social Service officer at the Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery department.
Dr. Soumen Acharya’s Interest include Geriatric Psychiatry; Anxiety in the Elderly; Geriatric Depression; Caregiving issues; Alzheimer’s disease; Dementias; Parkinson’s disease; Lewy Body dementia; Bipolar Disease in the Elderly; Agitation in dementia; Cholinesterase inhibitors and Heart transplant.
